He eventually died of heart failure in 2012.</p><P>Dan Reeves, Denver Broncos, 1990, age 46 and Atlanta Falcons, 1998, age 54: Reeves experienced chest pain in the 1990 preseason, had an artery clearing procedure and missed just one preseason game.
